Pump Station Cafe first opened in October 2005. The building used to be a Texaco gas station owned by a guy named Ken. Many people still come in and say they remember him and his gas station where they used to come as a child.
Today, Pump Station Cafe is a very busy coffee shop located in the heart of Boalsburg on Boal Ave. We are right next to the Boalsburg Pa Military Museum where many customers love to walk around once they've got their hands on their favorite Pump Station beverage & homemade baked good.
Open 7 days a week, Pump Station Cafe serves breakfast and lunch all day! Look at our Menu and see that we serve breakfast sandwiches with fresh eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat on a bagel, croissant, english muffin or other options (toast, ciabatta roll, wrap, or gluten free bagel). We also serve Oatmeal (gluten free). Lunch entails a variety of sandwiches of which our homemade chicken salad sandwich is by far the most popular. It is mixed with celery, craisins, and cashews. Come try our special Mon-Fri Chicken Salad Sandwich with a side and a drink for $6.63 (including tax).
Our baked goods are homemade right there in the cafe, baked daily and simply scrumptious! We have Muffins (Blueberry, Double Chocolate Chunk, Lemon Poppyseed with Lemon Glaze, Banana Walnut Oat, and seasonal muffins too), Gluten Free Muffins, Cinnamon Buns with or without Vanilla Icing, Krispie Treats, Brownies, Cookies, Crumb Cake, Scones, Bear Claws, many changing seasonal items and more!
